Ear Tuck

Ear tuck (otoplasty) surgery moves prominent ears closer to the head. An incision is made behind the ear, and permanent stitches tuck back the ears. These sutures can be used to make the cup (concha) of the ear less deep and/or to recreate the fold on the helix of the ear. Dr. Benvenuti prefers not to cut the cartilage because it may leave irregularities that can be seen through the skin. Children as well as adults enjoy the wonderful results of otoplasty surgery.
